Hi there, had my Volusia Intruder 02 spec since 2007 with only a few silly niggles always on the electrical side of things, mainly false temperature readings by means of temp warning light trying to scare me, I replaced the sender unit only for said fault to leap out at a week later but I had a cunning plan, I installed an oil temp gauge oil filler plug that gives me a near enough reading that I can rely on especially now the temp warning light flickers sometimes with the vibes from the motor. I have checked all the usual suspects loose dirty connections etc only to discover a knackered ignition switch, this was discovered when I tried to put the key in the ignition and the barrel felt like a bag of old spanners which only occurred because I inserted the key in a stooped angle which aggravated the wear and tear on said offending switch, so thinking this is something to do with temp warning light what alternative ignition switches are out there as a replacement??
