Final drive

Hi can anybody advise me on Suzuki book time for dismantling final drive clean grease and reassemble. Or an approximate timescale for this operation many thanks Steve

hi you can have this done in 1hr to 1 1/2hrs ive done it and not a mechanic you will need to remove seal at wheel end and replace to grease that end i have one here mines was 2008 vl800 seal from robertson in england have part num if interested

hi check you messages ive left my num then can send you pic on whatsapp this has suzuki label on it and is unopened the part num  09283-30051 there are videos on here how to do this not a diff job to do i also have the proper grease that was talked about on here dosnt take much if seal any good for you you can have the grease aswell small tub not much bigger than nail varnish thingy  thought it bloody dear at time but you can have for free just check price for seal think i paid £12 £10 for both you pay post give me a bell as i have a couple of items you might be interested in riders backrest( rear exstended foot rests highwayhawk )

Hi Ardie managed to to my final drive in just under 2 hours got the oil seal over here in Spain what with all the brexit it was cheaper here. Thanks again for all your help Steve
