| Yes Paul. Glued on nicely and as for the throttle cables I've set it good enough for the time being. Silly me should have looked in the manual re cable adjustment and I'll re-adjust as directed once I got a bit of "garage time". | |

Marcin the only adjustment should be at the throttle end which will take no more than a minute to do, can't see for a minute that the adjustment need be done anywhere else, after all you have only changed the grips

| Yes mate.
But there are two cables and I loosened both when doing the replacement. I didn't know that you give slack to the lower, then adjust the higher to leave 2-4mm slack, and then you adjust the lower until you feel the pressure.
I've done it not only the other way around but also both at the same time and any other combination possible resulting in home made cruise control (getting stuck at where I open it to) or not returning fully.
Please bear with me re photos. I'll post as soon as I can.

| Ok mate let's go through this from the beginning. At the Carb end of your cables is spring loaded mechanism that will automatically bring your bike back to the idle / tickover position. So if both off your cables are slack, you need to adjust the throttle cable until you have the required slack, just a few mm. Then when that is done adjust the release cable to ruffle the same amount of slack. The release cable is only there as a precaution against the spring failing, so that should the spring fail you can manually turn the throttle off. So in short, adjust the throttle cable first and only then adjust the release cable. It really does not matter which way around you do it in all honesty but it does sound like you have uncovered a frayed cable which is only showing itself because it has been moved right out of position | |

| That's what I meant. Thank you for putting it in more technical way. Also big thank you for letting me know about how it actually works. | |

| Photo as promised. And yes, I know that throttle boss is too high. I changed that today already :] The grips are superb... heaven and hell compared to stock ones. And as for the left grip I used Loctitie Gel Control Power Flex blah blah blah | |

| The triple tree cover is a add on Marcin and one I've been looking into myself but might have to wait a while. | |
